Kurathical is a new brand we have launched to promote our product development. The concept is a comprehensive brand of sustainable and ethical lifestyle. The name “Kurathical” has the following connotations.

The impetus came from the idea of a student at Osaka Prefectural Senri High School. Zeomic took notice of the students' activities to do something about the problem of food loss, which is a social issue, and through repeated discussions, came up with the first product development (a foldable lunch box).
We will continue to develop this idea and expand into plastic products such as daily necessities and stationery, textile products, livingware, and nursing care products.
NordShield, a naturally derived antimicrobial agent from Finland
Issues with conventional textile products include “unpleasant odors caused by microbial growth on textile surfaces” and “risks to human health and environmental impact of conventional technologies used for antimicrobial treatment of textile products (zinc pyrithione, quaternary ammonium salts, etc.)”.
NordShield is a fiber processing technology using natural substances developed by a Finnish manufacturer as a solution to these challenges. Depending on the composition of the fiber and the end use, the technology is derived from softwood thinnings and from waste molasses. Its safety is proven by compulsory tests based on to SEK standards, Excellent grade by DERMATEST in Germany, and ECO PASSPORT compliance by OEKO-TEX.
Hence, unlike conventional antimicrobial treatments, it can be an effective, safe, easy-to-handle, and sustainable alternative.
