Sinanen Zeomic aims to realize a sustainable society
and comfortable lives for people.
Commitment to the SDGs
We will work to create an environment where each employee can grow
in order to create a healthier and more comfortable working environment for everyone.
We support employee health, work-life balance, and growth
We have established systems that support flexible work styles, such as flextime systems and telecommuting. In addition, as part of our health management initiatives, we have established a health consultation service that includes industrial physicians and public health nurses, and we have also received Silver certification under the Meister Company Certification System as part of Aichi Prefecture's reforms to the way employees take time off.
- An AED is available for use by employees and other nearby residents.
- Introduced e-learning for employee education.
- Introduced a qualification acquisition reward system.
We are working to create an organization without gender distinctions
- Female managers are playing an active role.
- Male employees have taken childcare leave.
- A consultation service is available to prevent sexual harassment, power harassment, and other human rights violations.
We will continue our efforts to make our products
and technologies useful in various aspects of society.
Continuing development of antimicrobial agents for a more hygienic society
With the corporate mission of “expand the comfort into daily life, more to the world, further to the future,” we have laid the foundation for R&D and manufacturing, including the world's first commercialization of a silver-based inorganic antimicrobial agent.
We will continue to develop antimicrobial agents and contribute to the safety, security, and comfort of people's lives through our antimicrobial business, and work toward the realization of a hygienic and sustainable society.
We conduct research and development in collaboration with industry, academia, etc.
In order to return the results of our research to society, we actively promote industry-academia collaboration activities and practice concrete product manufacturing.
Our technology makes safe water
NSF indicates safety and quality related to food and drinking water. NSF-certified products that meet global standards contribute to a safe water supply.
Spreading the use of NordShield®, a sustainable material made from softwood scraps, around the world
The NordShield® series is a naturally-derived antimicrobial agent made by extracting the necessary components from softwood lumber. It is mainly used to apply antimicrobial and deodorant treatments to apparel and textiles, reducing the heat energy used in the manufacturing process and further contributing to the decarbonization and sustainability of customers and the supply chain.
We are always thinking about being “sustainable” and working on environmental issues
and contributing to the local community.
Antimicrobial education for children.
As an antimicrobial doctor, I conduct on-site classes for elementary school students in order to convey the importance of antimicrobials and their mechanisms.
We aim to expand our earth-friendly and sustainable brand “Kurathical”.
Supported the commercialization of a “foldable lunch box with antibacterial specifications” invented by high school students to reduce food loss.
In the future, we plan to develop a wide range of products under this brand name, including daily necessities, stationery and other plastic products, textile products, livingware, and nursing care products.
Environmentally Conscious Production Activities
We strive to reduce our environmental impact by monitoring and adjusting the electricity and pollutants used in our production activities.
- We are working to save energy by converting lighting equipment in the plant to LEDs.
- We strive to reduce air pollution by using boilers equipped with high-efficiency economizers.
- We strive to recover and properly dispose of specified CFCs.
We are working to properly dispose of and reduce industrial waste with an awareness of recycling through recycling.
We regularly check the final disposal site of waste directly and dispose of waste properly based on waste management slips.
We are working to prevent water pollution and recycle resources used as raw materials by installing wastewater treatment facilities and conducting periodic inspections and testing.
We handle chemicals responsibly.
We measure emissions of hazardous chemical substances by measuring the working environment, and are working to monitor and reduce the use of chemical substances through the PRTR system (Pollutant Release and Transfer Register system).
We manage the types, usage, and storage of hazardous chemical substances, and disclose the impact of our business activities on biodiversity according to the GHS classification.
We are working toward conflict-free mineral use
We conduct conflict mineral surveys to ensure that we are not using raw materials that cause forced labor or human rights violations, and that we are conducting our business activities in an informed and sustainable manner.
