FDA:Food and Drug Administration
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration are on a par with the former Japan Ministry of Health and Welfare in Japan. Since its founding in 1938, the Food and Drug Administration is responsible for protecting and promoting public health through Federal Regulations. The FDA is empowered to enforce the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) to approval food additives, food contact substances and pharmaceutical products.
It is responsible for controlling 3 areas of contributing to the safety of food and health, the disclosure of information on regulated products, and the enforcement of the FDA guidelines for products.
