Gas detection tube method

The Gas Detection Tube Method is a method to detect and measure the presence of various gases -solely or mixed- within a specific area, using a gas detector tube.  Since the results are read by the naked-eye, this method is not as accurate as the gas chromatography method, but is widely used.  Gas detector tubes for different types of gases can be founded commercially. This method also has been standardized by the Japan Industrial Standard under the JIS K0804.
