SIAA (Society of Industrial-Technology for Antimicrobial Articles)
SIAA is the industrial body, which was established in 1998, with the cooperation of manufactures of antimicrobial agents, manufactures of products, test laboratories, etc.
SIAA, which aims at the sound development of the antibacterial market, is managed based on the guideline proposed by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI).
Only products which have been proved as safety material and passed the antibacterial efficacy criteria can display the SIAA certification mark.
